The largest of all the Southern Gulf Island is Salt Spring Island. Visit the famous Saturday Market or stop by one of the many artists studios,. Enjoy local food, picturesque vineyards, and cheese from world renown cheesemakers. Kayak on St. Mary Lake, take a yoga lesson, enjoy a boat cruise, or forest bathe while hiking one of the many trail systems. We have it all!

Are you working from home these days? Our cabins and chalets are ideal spaces to put in a few good hours amidst the peace and quiet, with ample desk space both inside and on your private deck, as well as high speed internet throughout, and plenty of fresh air. After all, Zoom meetings are so much better when our background is a wood fire stove or a sparkling lake!
Take advantage of our canoes, kayaks, SUP boards, sandy beach, and beautiful grounds, or head in island to hike, explore ocean beaches, or meet some of SSI’s artisans.
